Invitation To Visit Pavilion – MyHIJAU Mark Powered By ODELA At IGEM 2022

With reference to the above matter, we are pleased to inform that Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) under the MyHIJAU Mark together with our newly boarded e-Marketplace partner, ODELA will be having 1 dedicated pavilion to promote on Malaysia’s First Green e-Marketplace Powered by ODELA. This will be in conjunction with our yearly international event, IGEM 2022 which will be held on 12 – 14 October 2022 at KLCC Convention Centre. The pavilion will be located at Hall 2, booth no. 2031 – 2036, nearby MGTC Pavilion and Hall 2 entrance.

The purpose of this Pavilion is to:

  • Promote Malaysia’s First Green e-Marketplace platform
  • Increase number of applications for MyHIJAU Mark and ODELA Merchants registration
  • Unifying government bodies, businesses, financial institutions and individuals in green market and supply

DAY 1; 12 OCT 2022 (WED) – Training on Green Practices In-Conjunction With IGEM2022

We will be organizing a Training session on Green Practices Guideline for the Industry Development Programme. The programme is part of the initiatives to assist local manufacturers, producers, suppliers, distributers and services to become more competitive in order to meet the demand of the local market and abroad in line with the National Green Technology Policy.

The seminar session focuses on providing participants with a clear understanding of the importance of green practices in business and processes, understand more about the benefits of green technology, be able to differentiate and understand different terminology and understand the relationship between processes of each sector as well as methods of measuring the impact on carbon emissions and climate change. It will also feature programme which aims to create more local green products and services that are manufactured, supplied or provided by Malaysian local business and to facilitate in the development of green products and services.

We will be launching the collaboration between MyHIJAU Mark and ODELA e-marketplace as Malaysia’s First Green e-Marketplace Powered by ODELA. This is our new approach starting from year 2022, MyHIJAU Mark will be more focusing into raising the awareness and educating public and stakeholders about the purpose and the new benefits of the MyHIJAU Mark and Directory, through our partnership with Odela, our e -marketplace platform so that MyHIJAU Mark are easily available for online marketplace for B2B commerce purchasing.

We will be organizing a pocket talk session on MyHIJAU Powered Odela Marketplace. ODELA is a B2B eCommerce marketplace designed to cater Small-Medium Enterprises (SME) under one dedicated online platform and ecosystem. They created a robust and seamless platform which is scalable to integrate with multiple platforms. It is designed to be modular and is able to connect using APIs to different providers depending on requirements.

In line with the mandate of nurturing and growing the SMEs, SME Bank has taken the initiative to develop ODELA, a Business-to-Business (B2B) digital platform.

This is golden opportunity for the companies to explore further on the banking facilities offered by SME Bank which is the first and only Development Financial Institutions (DFI) – Backed Odela platform offered by SME Bank. One of the financing fund been offered during the biz matching is High Tech & Green Facility (HTG) fund which is designed to help SMEs and innovative start-ups to grow their businesses and invest in strategic sectors and technologies fields (digital tech, green tech and biotech) for a sustainable and entrenched economic recovery.
