VERIFICATION PARTNERS
Our trusted, independent verification partners ensure the credibility of the MyHIJAU programme. Only products and services accredited by these verification bodies are eligible to register for the MyHIJAU Mark and be listed on the MyHIJAU Directory.
Our basis for the selection of independent verification partners is that the verifier must have the skills, experience and resources to assess, monitor and audit the certified products and services to ensure they genuinely comply with environmentally-friendly standards. We are constantly working with new verification bodies to grow our pool of partners, making the MyHIJAU programme the most comprehensive green recognition programme throughout Malaysia.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF VERIFICATION PARTNERS
As a Partner of MyHIJAU Mark, a verification body is responsible for:
- Establishing the neutrality, trustworthiness and reliability of its certification programme.
- Maintaining a publicly available database of the products it certifies, including advising on the withdrawal or termination of certification of products.
- Publishing any changes to the certification process, or criteria and standards used for certification, and updating MGTC of these changes.
- Supporting and recognising MyHIJAU Mark registration.
